Resources for PSIT helping
Ukrainian refugees

As soon as the Ukraine war started in spring 2022, public service interpreters and translators all across Europe stepped up to the plate to assist refugees from the war-ridden country in gaining access to public services. Because of an acute shortage of interpreters and translators with a sufficient command of Ukrainian and the host community’s language, people who had never interpreted or translated in their lives were also employed and training initiatives were set up to assist them.
On this page you can find various types of resources that were used in different countries, either developed specifically for or disseminated more intensively in this refugee crisis.
